TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience in the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS certified, with recent experience in high-risk labor and delivery preferred Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of quality care. - Monitor the health and status of patients, including performing assessments and implementing appropriate interventions. - Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively. - Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current best practices in maternal child health. - Engage with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the birthing process. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols. - Exhibit proficiency in managing high-risk obstetrical cases.
